‘Twas the week before Christmas and all through the land,
Busy people were fraught, with no presents planned.
Christmas carols and cheer couldn’t drown out their screams,
While crowded stores and no parks danced in their dreams.

With deadlines to achieve and client meetings to be had,
Professionals were left solemn, guilty, defeated and sad.
Tear-drenched cheeks, angry partners and divorce was the fear.
Who would save Christmas when there was no time to spare?

Then, in their inbox there appeared their unlikely salvation,
An answer for the disorganised and overworked of the nation.
Website owners in the know, had sent e-mail messages with glee,
Offering products to be delivered and placed under the tree.

Websites setup to make it easy when buying for him or her,
Were rewarded with sales that would make anyone purr.
E-mails were forwarded and other Christmas’ were saved,
While people bookmarked the website that had that they craved.
