Website Strategy
What's the point in having a website if it doesn't do something for you?
With the web industry flooded with pre-pubescent "cowboys", all claiming to be web developers, it's little wonder that the Internet is so cluttered with "useless" websites.
Website Strategy is a process of asking the "hard" questions and finding the answers (together), before the website development begins:
- What processes/staff duties could the website streamline or eliminate?
- How will your website fit into your overall marketing plan?
- What do you expect your website to do for you?
e.g. generate 'x' number of leads, improve brand recognition, sell 'x' amount of product per annum etc - What do your exsisting website statistics reveal about your users demands/requirements?
e.g. What information are your users most interested in? Where do you lose visitors on your website? etc - What is your offline strategy to inform people about your new website?
- What systems need to be put in place to ensure that once the website has met its objectives, your staff know how to respond?
Once you know what your website success criteria is Xplore.net will show you how to structure your website architecture, copy and functionality to generate the best results.
