Refresh our look and highlight key services...
Willis Toomey Robinson (WTR) is an established and well respected law firm with a history that exceeds 25 years. In 2010, the partners decided that it was time to refresh the WTR brand with a new look and feel, coupled with a new web presence.
Having been a client for over 6 years, and already utlising the Xtools content management system, WTR knew just who to call with their new online marketing requirements.
WTR needed a website that:
- Reflected their new identify, in look and feel and structure.
- Made finding news and other key information easy for users.
- Highlighted the firm's free wills service.
- Profiled the firm's areas of expertise.
- Provided faces of the key personnel at WTR (for a more personable feel).
A website that brings WTR into the 21st Century...
Already having an intimate understanding of WTR (through 6 years of ongoing contact and support with the WTR team), Xplore was able to quickly translate the updated WTR brand look and feel into a complimentary online representation of their business.
In addition, Xplore provided:
- A clear call-to-action for the WTR "free wills" service as the main focus on the updated home page.
- An automated news feed appears on the home page – ensuring this page is always up-to-date.
- Bullet points on the home page, as well as a dedicated "services" page, were used to highlight the firm's areas of expertise.
- Professional photography (arranged by Xplore) providing an approachable image of the business, by pairing staff photos with their bios.
And, because WTR already used the Xtools CMS suite (a suite of online tools that is continuously updated by the Xplore team), changing the look and structure of their existing website was simple and cost-effective.
The Geek Stuff...
The Willis Toomey Robinson (WTR) website utlises the following Xplore Xtools CMS modules:
- Xsite - content management system
- Xpanels - rotating image panels
- Xmembers - member management
- Xmail - permission based email marketing system
- Xposter – online blogging and article management system
The above tools provide WTR with the ability to manage all aspects of their website, without the need to enlist a developers assistance.
