The Objectives:"New Era IT is an IT company working in the education sector. Until recently our own in-house software developers maintained our website, but with the ongoing changes and upgrades to web technology the decision was made to outsource this to a third party. At the same time a major consideration when seeking to contract an external company to develop our website was that this company would need to have a solution that we could also recommend to our own clients. Our requirement was that we needed a Content Management System which would allow the ongoing updating and management of the site by our own in-house staff and that the package had to come with expandable modules, including online ordering and purchasing so that as our business required such functionality this could easily be added to our site."
