The 7 Steps to Website Success
No self-respecting home owner would buy a new house without first inspecting the property or (at the very least) viewing the plans. So, why would you do the same when commissioning a website?
Xplore Net Solutions has developed a process that ensures our clients are informed and assisted throughout the entire web development process.
This ensures that the website we build is the website you want.
The following outlines our steps to web success:
- Strategy
When you first meet with Xplore.net it's not with a sales person, it's with a Web Strategist. They will discuss your business, your processes, your objectives and (only then) they will formulate a proposal with a web solution tailored to your individual needs.
- Ongoing Care
You will be assigned your very own Project Manager, who will assist you during the development process and address any concerns or queries you may have. Help is just a phone call away.
- Design
To help you to convey your design requirements to the Xplore.net team we have created the Graphic Design Questionnaire document. Once completed you will then be presented with an initial design concept for approval.
- Blue Prints
Once you are happy with the design concept our team will construct a Functional Specification (blue prints) document for your project and approval. This document is excellent as it ensures that the website we build is the website you want.
- Build
Once you have signed-off on the Functional Specification document the development team will begin the build of your web solution (this takes 2-6 weeks depending on the complexity of your project).
- Your Approval
Once the web solution is complete and thoroughly tested it will be made available to you on our development server for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) – an opportunity for you to give your final approval of the solution.
- Go Live
You specify a launch date for your new site and your web solution will go live!
